The service and staff was what makes that place fantastic. We really enjoyed the fact that there were a mini-fridge-bar, an iron and a work desk in the room. Superior hotel, situated not far from 49th Street metro station.
Was all great.

The staff went out of their way to organize laundry etc and generally were just really pleasant and helpful. Room was much bigger than expected and shower was huge. Very comfortable bed.
Rather gloomy red lighting everywhere

The location is unbeatable. I also stayed in a newly renovated room and thought it was very classy. The hotel is in the middle of what will be a beautiful renovation, and I was very pleased that I was never bothered by the noise. In fact, the hotel is less than a block away from Time Square and I never heard any noise (I was on the 6th floor). The bed was very comfortable. This would be a perfect hotel if you're just leisurely enjoying the city.
Business travel was initially difficult with this hotel and would have been easier if I had known the following: The hair dryers, iron and ironing boards are not kept in the room; you need to request these from the front desk. I couldn't figure out how to work the phone to call front desk or arrange wake-up; there wasn't a guide to anything in the room. There isn't a full length mirror. The only mirror was the small one above the bathroom sink. There wasn't an alarm clock in the room. If you need to request your car from parking, budget an extra 20 minutes. Room cleaning starts before 8am; make sure you have your Privacy sign out...my co-worker was walked in on at 8am.

What I liked the most was the spot that the hotel is located.
I didn't like the fact that the hotel was under construction during my staying and there was a lot of noise, dust and the lobby was not available due to the constructions.Plus the room was so tiny using a curtain as a door for the shower...

My stay in this hotel was only for a day. Although we booked for the "Superior Queen Room", we got to stay in a Suite which was beautiful. The front area of the room was still under construction but nevertheless the bedroom itself was awesome. Loved the bathroom and the toilet. Couldn't get out of the shower. Loved the bed a alot. It was so comfortable to sleep in. I think so far in whichever hotels we stayed in, this was the best bed I have ever slept on. It was a pity that we had to fly out the next morning. The service provided by the staff was excellent. Overall my rating for this hotel out of 10 would be 10.
Too short a stay to comment on anything I disliked. There are only likes that I could think of which was already mentioned above.

The rooms were beautifull, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect. Close to the subway. The personnel was friendly and helpfull.
They were renovating during the time we were there. So it was quite noisy at some times. They were having this pop-up restaurant thing, so it was busy at night with loud music, but it was just temporary. Overall is was a good hotel.

The room (King double) was spacious and confortable.
The lobby was in ruins since there is a renovation going on that the hotel does not inform you beforehand. The heater did not work, but they repaired it in the day.

the one and only thing I liked about the hotel was how near it is to Time Square but I can not say anything good about the hotel itself it was like we were living on a building site. The staff were very nice and helpfull. The web site was very deceptive. My sun a graphic designer checked the wib site and said it was clearly a 3d image of what it will be and not what it is.
The room was very tiny and it was very difficult to get round it. It was more like a single room. As I already said it was like living on a building site.
